Zoom!
That was
fast! So Christmas is over… until next year. Well, not quite. Where I am, the
décor usually doesn’t come down until February. LOL
I guess I
got caught up with my website and everything that I lost track of time. Had a
bit of excitement just before Christmas. My editor accepted “Amateur Night.” No
revisions required!!! Yay, me!
I bought
myself a new toy for Christmas. What with all the proofreading in my future —
which means printing out hundreds of manuscript pages — I decided to invest in
a fast printer. Having covered the electronics industry for most of my
professional life, I just couldn’t resist getting an all-in-one color
scanner/photocopier/printer. Then I needed decent furniture to put it on. Can’t
risk damaging my toy by placing it on a flimsy folding table, right?
Anyway, I
finally finished setting up my office. I figured since I’m serious about this
writing gig, I’d better have a professional setup to help my brain get into
work mode. Otherwise, I might end up playing FreeCell for hours.
I took a
picture for posterity. Here’s what it looks like. This will probably be the
last time in a long while it will look this neat. There’s my new toy crouched
at the end of my new desk.
