Just when I thought I was done with my proposal, my crit partner identifies Major Weaknesses: Take 2. I’d just dealt with Take 1. Argh! I hate it when she’s right. On a happier note, I got my first check! Now I really feel like an author. ;-)

Anyway, back to editing for me. I’m now hoping to get the proposal for the sequel to Entangled done this week. Who’d have thought it would be so hard, considering I’ve written nearly three-fourths of it already? Well, it turns out my original subplot was too convincing, so I had to scrap it and rework: that was Take 1. It also means I have to rework the extant three-fourths but I should be able to keep most of it. Hopefully.
